Woman Plus Dog

Today’s draft is more of a poem fragment, inspired by seeing a doppelgänger of someone I used to know.

Today -- a golden doodle, the gray Honda Civic of dogs,walking slightly ahead, never pulling,while the woman looks intently at her feet,puzzled by their weight on the soft October ground.
