Choose My Own Adventure

Hello Dear Ones!

I am going to try something a little different today — I want to encourage you to check out this page on Medium where my friend and I are putting up story starts and letting you, dear readers, choose which story gets to live another day.

The project is called 500Words — A Short Story Project, and is the idea and creation of Malik Turley. Here is her description of the 4-week project:

Weeks 1–3: New story starts will be published on Mon/Wed/Fri. “Clap” for your favorites by Saturday. On Sundays We’ll add 1000 words to the winning start. Clap for your favorite by Monday. Week 4: The winning 1000 word start will be developed into a full short story.

I am asking you to visit 500Words this week, check out some short story starts, and vote for your favorite. (My first start involves graphic designers, upside-down elephants, and a fun fact about geese.)
