When I See You Again
Hopefully never
Dear Ones. There are some people I do not care to have in my life ever again. I am grateful for their lessons, and I am done with them. I was thinking about one of those people while I was walking this morning, and I wrote this scene of what might happen if I ever see them again.
Text within this block will maintain its original spacing when publishedI tell you this: Take my name out of your mouth. Rinse every cell of your tongue free of the sound of it,so when you see me all you feel in there is dryness and the sudden urge to choke on your own hot air. My name does not belong anywhere in your being. I reclaim it. I take it back, and with it, I take every thing that happened between us.Even the things that only happened in my mind.Even the things I only wished for.I take it all back because it is mine. Go and live your life, freely, without even the hint of the taste of the sweetness of my name.
