This is not a request.

It is way too warm for February today, and I am mesmerized by the sunlight. This feeling of wanting to be anywhere but inside is what inspired today’s draft.
I am still feeling a little bit like I’m climbing up out of revision and editing mode, so new ideas and play are a little hard to come by. The key is to keep showing up. What are you showing up for today?
Text within this block will maintain its original spacing when publishedLast night the rain broke open the soilreleasing smells of the buried things of early Spring.I walked past all this between this meeting and that -- No time to pause and notice what is rising, slowly,and too early. Only when I settle in my seat,separate from the budding trees and thawing ground,I feel the prickling buzz in my hands,the heavy weight in my feet,the tugging rope-weight of the end of Winter. There is no peace to be found in filtered air or clean fingernails.No rest in the cleared email in box. Calm only lives in my cheek pressed to still-wet grass,mud on my knees,dirt stains clinging to the lines of my palms.
