Foster Fail

Free in good home

The phrase “foster fail” always makes me smile. It’s one of those expressions in the English language that makes no sense and makes perfect sense at the same time. It means some animal has a home, which makes it joyful.

A joyful failure. May we have many of these in our lifetimes.

She’s a rescue.

A foster fail.

We don’t know what happened before she came to us.

Nothing good.

She doesn’t like people so you won’t see her.

You’ll hear her. She’s just behind that door.

The other dog is pretty chill.

He’s big too.

Maisie is a little dog so

she comes with all that little dog noise.

Honestly,

right after you leave,

she’ll come out and curl up with me on the couch

like nothing ever happened.

Move  Explore  Connect — Next Week!

Next Friday, April 12, is the beginning of the Evanston Conscious Movement Festival. There’s still time to get your ticket. Choose the full weekend, Saturday only, or just the Saturday evening dance party. Whatever you choose, you are welcome, just as you are.

Where else will you find a weekend where you can be held, guided, and gently moved back into loving awareness of and relationship with your body? The space is open for you. I hope to see you there.
