Eloquence of Dust
Talking and talking and talking

Good morning, dear ones. Today’s breath is my favorite kind of draft. It is so deeply unfinished, and it grew from a moment that became many lines of a journal that then crystallized into an image that I have tried to note here. I not only see the edges of the finished poem here, I feel it between my teeth. There is still much work to be done.
Text within this block will maintain its original spacing when publishedWords are endless like a waterfall, and like a waterfall they smooth jagged edges of the river rocksinto something smooth, cool, pleasing to hold.Silence only lasts as long as rivers stay still.More language pours over stonecarving, gouging, finally dissolving.Carrying forth this eloquence of dust
