Do you need room to breathe?

I might have a space for you . . .

Dear Ones,

If your creative work is anything like mine, you probably find yourself too easily distracted by the effluvia of a modern home, a modern life. (Of course I can’t work on this poem while there are dirty dishes in the sink!)

Wouldn’t it be nice to have a space where you can sink in with other creative folks, bask in that energy, and spend time on your own creative projects?

I found the weekly Zoom co-working groups the most fruitful part of a recent workshop. There’s something about being in the presence of other people that makes it a little easier to ignore the dishes and write.

Instead of moping around about the end of that workshop (and the scheduled co-working time,) I have decided to create my own space. I would like to invite you to Connected Tissue1 Open Studio Wednesdays.

Every Wednesday, from 10-11:30am (EST) I will open this Zoom space to anyone who wants to come and work. Come for the whole time, or any part of it. Work on whatever speaks to your heart. You are welcome.

Here’s how it will work: (all times are approximate)

10-10:10am: Grounding practice, individual intention setting

10:10-10:35: First work block

10:35-10:40: Music/dance/stretch break!

10:40-11:05: Second work block

11:05-11:10: Stretch break, quick check in

11:10-11:25 Final work sprint

11:25-11:30: Ending practice, awkward Zoom “goodbye wave”

I hope to see you this Wednesday, or any Wednesday, at 10am EST at the Zoom link below. And why not bring a friend?
