Getting through it
Hello Dear Ones! Thank you for being here with me. I had a lovely hiatus, away from home and deeply connected to myself. While I was way, I met some people and wrote some drafts. Here’s one of them.

It was -- It was --It just was. She leans her hip into the sink, busies her hands with whatever is near. One wrapped ankle poised just off the floor, the memory and promise of pain, suspended. Gravity equals standing equals pain --every moment another level and layer of pain. Cornered in her kitchen, back against the gleaming granite countertop in front of her, a well-meaning friend, offering solutions to a question she never asked anyway. This is the smile of getting through it and keeping it together.White teeth, white knuckles, white spots in her vision blocking any view of escape.
